Worth every penny!, September 25, 2009 By Kathleen (Naperville, IL United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Orthaheel Men/Women Tide Slide In Orthopedic Sandals (Apparel) I think the Orthaheel Tide flip flops are worth every penny! After just the FIRST day of wearing them, my heel pain (plantar fascitis) was markedly improved. I've been wearing these flip flops every day for about a week now, and they are the only shoes in my closet that don't make my heel hurt by the end of the day. I don't know what I'll do when the cold weather arrives, but for now the Orthaheel Tides are working for me.

Back Saver!, June 28, 2009 By Anabelle Lee (Evans, GA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Orthaheel Men/Women Tide Slide In Orthopedic Sandals (Apparel) These flip-flops are like no other! I've been wearing them for the last three days and I am now back pain free! :) They are wonderful for people who have high arches & need the extra support. The first two days my arches hurt from wearing them, but that just means my weight is being distributed over my entire foot. I now call them my back savior. I LOVE THEM!

Comfy BUT......, August 17, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Orthaheel Men/Women Tide Slide In Orthopedic Sandals (Apparel) The shoe itself was very comfortable. My heels had no more pain, under my feet was no more pain and it threw me to the outside which is what I wanted. What I didn't want is for the straps to be so tight. My left foot is a medium width, but because I have a bunion on my right foot and have had ankle surgery I need a wide. I've read many reviews with the same problem that the straps are too tight. I'm very surprised that since a Podiatrist designed these sandals, one would think he would make them in wides and read some reviews of customers and make the straps a little wider.
