Comfortable & Stylish, December 11, 2010 By Elizabeth Hayward (California, USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sperry Top-Sider Angelfish (Apparel) I was looking for an alternative to flimsy ballet flats to wear with my skinny jeans. (I'm 27 and starting to worry about how I treat my feet.) I'd been eyeing these shoes for months before I broke down and bought a pair. No regrets! They are just as I thought they would be. LOVE the linen/oat color. They go with just about anything and are extremely comfortable to walk in.
They do run large. I usually wear a 7.5, and I bought the 7M, and they're still very roomy. I can't wait until spring/summer so that these will be more appropriate to wear around. I'm sure they will be my go-to shoe.

Cute and comfortable shoes!, May 12, 2011 By Sarah (PA, US) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sperry Top-Sider Angelfish (Apparel) I was very excited to get these shoes from Amazon, I have never owned a pair of Sperrys or boat shoes for that matter, but I read so many good reviews I figured I would try them because they are so cute. I received them four days ago and have been wearing them every day to get them broken in. When they arrived they were in perfect condition and after four days they still look like the day they came in, despite walking outside and in the grass a lot. They are already perfectly broken in and are extremely comfortable! I bought a half size smaller than I normally wear in the medium (regular) width, based on the reviews and they fit perfectly, so be aware of the size difference when you are ordering. When I first tried them on they felt like they were narrow in the front of the shoe around where the toes are which made me nervous about pain issues. After one or two days of wearing them they fit my feet fine in that area, as the leather must have stretched slightly to accommodate my... Read more

Cute shoes, but go with another style instead, November 18, 2011 By Restaurant manager, sorority girl, smart kid ... (Indianapolis, Indiana) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sperry Top-Sider Angelfish (Apparel) I purchased the Sperry Angelfish style with the Sperry Women's Bluefish 2 Eye, intending to wear the Bluefish for work and the Angelfish for "real life." I liked the style of the Angelfish better, but needed some comfy shoes that covered the tops of my feet since I work in a restaurant. To my surprise, I ended up liking the Bluefish much more. The Angelfish are cute and relatively comfortable. The insides are padded, and walking or standing in them makes the bottoms of my feet feel great. However, I was disappointed to find that I got blisters on the backs of my feet after wearing these shoes, which I generally only experience with cheaper styles (I have not experienced this issue with other Sperry styles). This, combined with the fact that the exposed top means I can really only wear these with shorts or dresses, means they aren't as versatile as the Bluefish. On the other hand, the shoes are sturdy and well-made, so if you need a cute pair of flats/boat shoes that go with... Read more
