Faithful Kayano Convert!, April 27, 2011 This review is from: ASICS Women's GEL-Blur33 Running Shoe (Apparel) I have always been a big fan of the Kayano (14, 15, 16) and decided to try a lighter weight shoe. Despite being a "minimalist" shoe, the Gel-Blur offers fantastic cushioning and stability (I tend to overpronate a little). These shoes are super light weight and so comfortable! The only thing I noticed is that I had to order a half size larger than what I wore in the Kayanos. Definitely going to get another pair!

Attention Grabbers, February 23, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: ASICS Women's GEL-Blur33 Running Shoe (Apparel) I work at a hospital and have to wear gray scrubs so it can get rather boring. I bought these shoes to spice things up. I have gotten so many compliments on them from co-workers, doctors, and patients/family. I love how the ASICS brand fits my feet. My pair ran a little small though. The only other thing you should know is that the mesh on the top of the shoe above your toes is just that. It can get breezy in the winter time and you have to be aware of what color socks you wear because you can see into the shoe.

I got this shoe for a bit of added support for my longer runs. The soles of these shoes are very flexible but not quite as much as the more minimal shoes I usually run with. In addition, there is a good amount of support and cushioning around the ankle of the shoe. The shoes are light and breathable, as well. Overall, it is a comfortable shoe that I would recommend to the neutral shoe wearer who likes a shoe that is more on the minimal side.
