Pretty Darn Awesome, September 2, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Steve Madden Women's Banddit Boot (Apparel) I usually wear a size 9, but went based on a review on another site saying to order a size up and got a 10. I'm glad I did, they fit great. The straps are a little thin, some have a slight fray I will need to trim and the belt holes are not well perforated, but this are easily fixed (and the only reasons these boots didn't get 5 stars). The color is beautiful, just like the picture and they are very comfortable to walk around my house in. I have enough space to fit non-skinny jeans and normal socks in them. The boots can be tightened if you want a better fit but I like them loose since I have larger calves(about 16 inches). The boots hit right under where my calves are the biggest. If you're wondering, they are not lined. So far so good, I cannot wait for fall to officially begin.

I love this boot!!!, December 10, 2011 By This review is from: Steve Madden Women's Banddit Boot (Apparel) I normally wear a size 9.5 but they were only available in 9.0 so I rolled the dice and it payed off. I usually get my boots one size larger but for whatever reason these are perfect - even with thick socks. It's a little narrow to put on so I have to undo the lower buckle. I also had more holes put into the top strap because my legs are a little on the skinny side. All in all the boot looks and feel high quality and look great with everything - skinny jeans, dresses, skirts - PLUS, they are appropriate for any season.

I definitely agree that they run small and you will need to order a size up. I wear a size 9 and ordered a 9 1/2 because I thought a 10 would be huge - but I tried them on and sent them right back for a bigger size. Even in the 9 1/2, my toes were rubbing right up against the front of the boots, but the 10s are perfect. I definitely give these boots 2 thumbs up!
