Shoe-slipper hybrid, October 19, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sorel Women's Mackenzie Holiday Slip-On (Apparel) For some reason, when I purchased these, I was imagining them more as slippers than shoes. Although they are more shoe-like than I expected, I am very happy with my purchase. They are very soft and warm and have great arch support. I plan on wearing them as indoor shoes, but they have sturdy soles, so I could imagine myself running errands in them as well. Once it starts snowing, they will be great to slip into after taking off my snow boots (also sorels!). I usually wear an 8.5, which is what I ordered, and they do fit, but barely. If you want them to be roomy or plan on wearing thick socks, I would recommend ordering a half a size up.

I LOVE these slipper/shoes. They are incredibly warm and cushy on the bottoms. I can wear them outside if it is not too wet and my feet stay very warm even if I don't wear socks....which is unusual for my poor circulation.
