Helped with shin pain caused by another shoe, April 12, 2012 By Hummingbirds (USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Saucony Women's Grid Cohesion 5 Running Shoe (Apparel) As a runner, I started to get shin splints while wearing a newly purchased pair of Asics gel Kayano 18 sneakers (even with orthodics!). I would switch to my old pair of Saucony Grid Cohesion 3's and voila, no shin pain! So I decided to try a pair of these Saucony Grid Cohesion 5's, and lo and behold, no shin pain!!! Tried my Asics again, and had shin pain. So I am now married to Saucony for life! :) I just hope they don't change anything about their Grid Cohesion line. They are perfect! I tend to overpronate, and have a low to med arch, and I did place an orthodic in these, and it feels great. There is also more toe room than in Asics, so I did not need a wide width. But I would suggest going up 1/2 size in any running shoe. Just love these - I can run forever in them!

I've only had them for a day and wore them at track practice today. It will take a few days to get used to them since I jumped from pretty worn out Adidas shoes into these. Great support, feels really good when running on the track. I have a problem with shin splints but I feel these shoes will help it out a lot because of the support I feel already.

I Suffer With Neuropathy. Over The Yrs Ive Spented Hundreds & Hundreds Of Dollars On Various Shoes & Shoe Products That "Claim" To Give You Relife & To Be Comfortable.. My Sister Has Worn This Brand Of Sneakers For Years & She Swears, By Them. The Only That I Regret Is That , I Didnt Make This Purchase Sooner. I Was Determine To Find A Shoe That Was Soft & Comfortable & I Did.Saucony Is my New Shoe & I Didnt Have To Spend A Fortune Either..... I Love This Shoe!!!!!
