5.0 out of 5 stars Now that is what I call a manager's chair at a good price, February 9, 2012

On a budget? Can't stand leather? This is the chair for you. Seriously. I am a sucker for mesh type chairs. When I sat in this chair at a OfficeMax store in Sacramento, Ca, I had to have this chair, and the price is good as well, beside tax. So instead of being in a kitchen chair like I was for a long time and bending my back out of shape like a old person, I feel like I have more energy and feel a little bit more like a Philosopher. This chair is top notch at a good price. Would I pay for this chair again? Yes I fawking would, 3 times over. I don't mind the assembly, since it was seriously simple and quick. This is a chair seriously worth buying. Take it from a guy that sits down and produces music for 3 hours a day.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke in less than two months, June 24, 2012

The back of this chair is supported entirely by its connection to the armrests. The armrests have four bolts - two on the base, two on the back. When you lean on the back, the armrests take the weight, in a very poorly-designed way. My right armrest broke about two weeks ago, at the front base bolt hole. Just plain snapped, despite being about two thick square inches of solid plastic. The armrest/back was still firmly held in place by the two bolts, but it flexed more. I repaired it with duct tape (after superglue failed because it didn't bind to the plastic), and then a week or so later the armrest broke at the other bolt hole. I immediately wrapped that one in duct tape too, but now the armrest is in two pieces and the piece that's firmly attached to the seat back is attached to the base only by duct tape. This doesn't hold the back in place very well and now the seat back doesn't stay vertical when you lean back. It's now ridiculously uncomfortable to sit in - if you sit... Read more
