I didn't like the chairs that would have completed the set. I've tried out many, many chairs since then (I am sure some of the local furniture stories think I'm running some kind of racket, taking chair after chair home and bringing them back).
I ordered these chairs because I finally needed something around the table. At this price point, I thought they'd be a temporary solution. The table was $5000; it's a work of modern art. As it turns out, the chairs are perfect. They fit the table exactly, in every way. They look great. They are comfortable to sit in. They easily wipe clean, even after my seven year old eats a meal in one. I got the white ones (to go around a walnut table with a stainless steel center), so that's important! Anyhow, I unexpectedly fell in love with the bargain chairs. I've formally ended my six year hunt for the perfect dining chairs.

The chairs are as slick as they look in the pictures. The leather is also conducive to wipe-downs after encounters with eating children. I was a little skeptical of the design - the seat backs appear that they would collapse. But, the chairs are very steady for sitting (at least if you are a sub-200 lbs person). My wife even stood on one to reach a cabinet, although I wold not recommend that.
