Roomy and Comfortable, September 10, 2010 By NoName (USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: OFM Big and Tall Executive Chair Blue 710-2332 (Office Product) Very comfortable chair.
General comments: Great for big people but also good for those who don't want to be locked in a chair in one position all day long. There is plenty of room on the sides to move around and find a good position.
Armrests: Fabric-covered armrests are soft and at the right height for using a keyboard on your lap, like I do. Padding on armrests is about an inch. There is a curve in the armrests which is perfect to accommodate people of various builds or if you feel like either slouching or sitting up straight.
Seats and back: Back support is good and strong from bottom to top. Soft and thick cushions. Bottom padding is about 5 or 6 inches and is made out of some kind of material that is both soft and strong. Back padding is about 4 or 5 inches, made of the same soft and strong material.
Assembly: I just needed one large-head Phillips (cross) screwdriver to install 12 screws. Took me 35 minutes, but I'm overly... Read more
I know im not popular with my opinion, but hear me out, February 10, 2012 This review is from: OFM Big and Tall Executive Chair Blue 710-2332 (Office Product) First of all finding a comfortable chair when your a obese man is hard to do. im 400 pounds. When seeing this chair for work it looked similar to the one that i was using so i thought i would give it a try.
PRO:
1: very sturdy construction.
2: fabric is of good quality and i nice blue pattern (picture above shows it being grey)
3: conformable on back (only).
CONS:
1: After adjusting the tension (to lean back) all the way the chair is still difficult to lean back. it
forces me to sit up straight. with the extra weight around the stomach it pulls on the back and applies
pressure to the tops of the legs (some of you know what im talking about).
2: the cushion on the bottom in front has a little more patting than the back.. it applies pressure to the area
next to the knees causing my legs to go numb.
3: I like to use the arm rest. this unit has arm rest but they are so low and curve down that i find... Read more
